Meet Dr Sarmad Al Araji

Consultant Neurologist

Dr Sarmad Al Araji is a Consultant Neurologist based in the Midlands. He was appointed by University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire in 2024. He completed his neurology training in the West Midlands and completed his PhD degree from the University College London (UCL) studying individualised treatment responses in people with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).

Research Experience

I completed my PhD in Clinical Neurology at UCL in 2023. My research was focused predicting individualised treatment outcomes in people with Multiple Sclerosis. I am currently involved in multiple sclerosis trials at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire. I take part in the UK MS Trials and Registries network group.
